NJNREC is an advisory partnership composed of representatives from Project Learning Tree, Project WILD, Project Aquatic WILD, Project WET, and Bridges to the Natural World who support and advise the coordinators of environmental curriculm for formal and nonformal education. NJNREC also fosters the integrity and conservation of New Jersey's naturalresources and natural systems.
GOALS-
- To provide advisory support for educational opportunities for formal and nonformal educators that foster conservation of New Jersey's natural resources and natural systems, and reflect the goals of environmental education in the NJ Environmental Education Commission's Plan of Action as they relate to natural systems and natural resources.
- To provide an exchange between the Project Coordinators of Project Learning Tree, Project WILD, Project Aquatic WILD, Project WET and Bridges to the Natural World and formal and non-formal educators.
- To share ideas and resources to jointly address environmental, conservation and environmental education issues and opportunities in state, national and international forums.
