Promoting and Improving Environmental Education for people of all ages in New Jersey

NEW JERSEY ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION DIRECTORY
(NJEED)

This site is the future home for the New Jersey Environmental Education Directory (NJEED), an electronic database for New Jersey’s environmental education (EE) resources.

NJEED is under construction and is being developed by the Alliance for New Jersey Environmental Education (ANJEE). It will be administered as part of the ANJEE web site as a service to ANJEE members, NJ EE providers, and NJ citizens interested in environmental education resources. NJEED will feature resources by using the following three categories:

PEOPLE (WHO): Organizations, agencies, companies, consultants, special expertise, etc.

PLACES (WHERE): Centers, parks, museums, zoos, outdoor facilities, public spaces, etc.

THINGS (WHAT): Curricula, audiovisuals, software, grants, competitions, awards, etc.

Once fully constructed, NJEED will provide details about the offerings of each EE resource as well as multiple search options for specific EE needs. To obtain the offerings of each EE resource, the NJ EE providers listed below will receive electronic notice from ANJEE to visit this site and complete a detailed online questionnaire. If you represent a NJ EE resource provider NOT already listed below, please submit your information HERE.

Environmental education staff in the NJ Department of Environmental Protection will help administer NJEED once site development is completed. Special thanks to the NJ School-Age Care Coalition, Willa Schaefer and Diane Genco, as well as members of the ANJEE Northern Region, for their assistance with compiling the EE resources already listed below.
